Award-Winning Author to Give Public Reading at Converse

Irish novelist Antonia Logue will give a public reading on Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the school’s Cleveland Hall Alumnae House.

Ms. Logue is winner of the prestigious Irish Times Book prize for her novel Shadow-Box. She was also named one of the London Observer’s 21 writers for the 21st century. She currently lives in Dublin and New York, writing full-time.

The event is part of the Elizabeth Boatwright Coker Visiting Writer Series. There is no charge for admission and the public is invited to attend. The evening will end with a reception and book signing by the author. For more information, call 596-9099.
