Dr. Boone Hopkins was selected to present a paper at the Mid-America Theatre Conference in Kansas City. Boone’s presentation is titled, “Dancing Fast Asleep: Choreography and Inspired Indifference in Cabaret.”

Emily Willemse ’15 has accepted a full assistantship for the Master of Fine Arts Program in Scenic Design at Wayne State University. Emily designed the scenery for the Theatre Converse production of Antigone, and was mentored by John Bald.

Dr. Chandra Owenby Hopkins was awarded the Robert A. Schanke Theatre Research Award, a prestigious award for theatre historians that includes a cash award and publication in a leading journal at the Theatre History Symposium of the 2015 Mid-America Theatre Conference.
