Pens & Pages Writing Workshop with Professor Susan Tekulve

The Converse Creative & Professional Writing program is offering the second of its three free writing workshops this fall in downtown Greenville on Saturday, October 7 at 10:00 a.m. “Moments of Being and Non-Being: Finding Extraordinary Stories in Everyday Objects” is a memoir writing workshop designed to help you discover ideas and topics from your personal experience and introduce techniques to focus your life stories into essays, books, or journal entries.

The workshop is designed for writers at all levels who want to explore memoirs. The workshop is led by Prof. Susan Tekulve, award-winning novelist, essayist , poet, and author of five books. The Pens & Pages Workshops are co-hosted by Truphae and the Converse Low Residency MFA in Creative Writing.
