Lawson Academy Faculty Recital with the Carolina Primrose Quartet

Join us on October 26, 2025, from 2 to 3 PM for an afternoon of chamber music featuring Mari Hashimoto ’13, with the Carolina Primrose Quartet. Based in Asheville, NC, the quartet performs throughout North and South Carolina, presenting a mix of classical favorites, original works, and contemporary gems.

Their performances have taken them to arts councils, churches, and concert halls, as well as intimate house concerts, bringing chamber music back to its roots in the home. This special program will include music by Antonin Dvorak, original compositions, and selections from the beloved films of Studio Ghibli.

The Carolina Primrose Quartet features Paula Akbar on violin, Mari Hashimoto ’13 on violin, Daniel Leich on viola, and Zoe Taddie on cello.
