Converse University Tailgate Tent at the 2023 Criterium

In conjunction with Spartanburg’s Spring Fling, The Crit is a closed-circuit, multi-lap cycling race known for its open-air plaza center, dangerously sharp left turns and unique atmosphere!
This bike race puts a sweet southern SPIN on the traditional tailgate and turns the heart of the city into a one of a kind block party. Bring your friends, and tailgate with your Converse friends. Guests can wander the streets and drop in tent to tent around the course. For a list of the events visit the Criterium website.
Additional Details
- April 28, 2023 – Converse Tent opens at 5 pm.
- Located on the Library Side of Broad Street at the Corner of Church and Broad.
- Lawn is located behind the tent, so bring a chair.
- Enjoy snacks and beverages while they last – adult beverages for those over 21 (with an ID).
- We had several hundred in attendance last year – would love to have even more.
- Come drop in and see us or make the Converse tent your home base.
- This is a Do Not Miss event!
