2025 Carlos Moseley Series – Mendelssohn’s Octet at 200: A Legacy in Sound

November 10 @ 7:30 pm

$34 – $66
Four members of Miró Quartet pose with their instruments in black tie attire.

“Throughout, the Miró Quartet played with explosive vigor and technical finesse.” – The New York Times

“Vivid, imaginative, and bold, the Isidore… provided plenty to cherish.” – The Scotsman

This special program unites the Miró Quartet – who might be the finest mature string quartet in America today – with recent Moseley favorites the Isidore Quartet – who might be the nation’s and even the world’s finest young quartet. They will come together to tackle Felix Mendelssohn’s celebrated Octet, which might be the most infectiously joyous piece in the entire chamber music repertory.

The members of the Isidore Quartet perform while walking down a cobblestone street.

A rare and special opportunity to hear two celebrated groups team up to create an evening of pure, unadulterated musical pleasure!
