Tanya Greenlee is an assistant professor of accounting in the Department of Economics, Accounting and Business. She has 25 years of accounting experience in both public and private practice. Her most recent corporate position was Chief Accounting Officer at Burroughs & Chapin Company, a private REIT in Myrtle Beach, SC. She was appointed by Governor Nikki Haley to serve on the South Carolina Board of Accountancy; serving from 2011 to 2020.

Prior to joining the faculty at Converse University, she was an associate professor of accounting at Horry Georgetown Technical College. Professor Greenlee earned a BA in Accounting, Spanish and French from Wofford College in 1994 and a Master of Accountancy from Auburn University in 2012. She has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1997. Professor Greenlee loves college sports. She is married to a fellow Wofford Terrier and enjoys cheering them on. She also loves cheering on the Valkyries. She has two children and a very cute shih tzu named Giggsy.
