Wellness Center Front Office Coordinator
Sharon Purvis is the Front Office Coordinator for the Wellness Center at Converse.
A graduate of Nyack College in Nyack, NY with a degree in English literature, Sharon has had a career in publishing (two ends of the publishing spectrum—in scholarly publishing and children’s books) and communications (working in higher ed, a regional nonprofit, and a federal grant supporting farmers). She was previously the manager of Hub City Bookshop in downtown Spartanburg. (Support local! Stop by and visit Zora, the Hub Kitty!)
Sharon is a big reader, she loves to unwind on her yoga mat, and on nice weekends, she and her husband enjoy exploring local waterways in their kayaks. They live in Spartanburg with their two cats, Cleo and Ophelia.
