Patrick Grof-Tisza
Dr. Patrick Grof-Tisza is a plant–insect ecologist who studies how chemical signals shape interactions among plants, herbivores, and natural enemies in natural and agricultural systems. His work has been published in journals including New Phytologist and Proceedings of the Royal Society B, and his recent research on the traditional “Three Sisters” intercropping system received media attention in Science.
At Converse University, he teaches Zoology, Ecology, Environmental Science, and Biostatistics, and mentors students in research involving fieldwork, molecular tools, and analytical chemistry.
