Kim Jolley is the Assistant Vice President for Philanthropy. She leads the Philanthropy team, which includes major gift/philanthropy officers, the assistant director of annual giving, and the director of alumni relations. Before joining Converse, Kim was the Interim Vice Chancellor for University Advancement at USC Upstate and Interim Executive Director of the USC Upstate Foundation.

Prior to joining the higher education sector, Kim worked in the banking industry for over 31 years, most recently as the City President for SunTrust Bank in Spartanburg from 2008 to 2019. She has also worked as a commercial relationship manager for Bank of America and Wachovia Bank.

Kim currently serves on the Mary Black Foundation Investment Committee. She is the Past President and Board Member for Mobile Meals of Spartanburg. She served on the United Way of the Piedmont board of directors and as the Chair of the Advisory Committee of Women United.

In 2012, Nikki Haley appointed Kim to the Westview-Fairforest Fire Commission Board. She currently serves as the Chair of the Commission. She serves on the Finance committee at Bethel United Methodist Church and is Chair of the Endowment Committee.

Kim is a sustainer with The Junior League of Spartanburg. She is a graduate of the Leadership Spartanburg Class of 2004, the Spartanburg Medical Center Regional Fellows Class of 2013, Spartanburg Healthy Organizations Institute Class of 2014, and Furman University Women’s Leadership Institute Class of 2016.
