Julia Gergley started her musical journey in 2014 when she began viola and did not start taking formal piano lessons until 2017. She performs the viola in the Converse Symphony Orchestra and is self-taught on the guitar. Over the years she has participated in the Region Orchestra for three years and in the Spartanburg Youth Philharmonic Orchestra for two years.

Since 2019, Julia experienced the joy of performing guitar, bass, and keyboard in an all-girl rock band, alongside several cousins. With growing interests in other hobbies aside from music, she has passions for art, animals, and freeskating.

While maintaining a wide range of musical tastes, some of her favorite composers include Rachmaninoff, Chopin, and Prokofiev. Julia earned a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from Converse University and plans a future in the exploration in the art of piano tuning and repair.
