Deneisha Scott-Poe
Assistant Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy
Deneisha Scott-Poe is the Clinic Director for the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at the Spartanburg location. She received her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Appalachian State University.
She holds both a doctorate degree in Human Development with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy and a certificate in Gerontology from Virginia Tech. Her research focuses on aging Black families, Alzheimer’s disease caregiving, and how clinicians can better work with older Black adults and their families.
