Debbi Thompson
Director of Event Services
Debbi Thompson is the Director of Event Services at Converse, working to bring community members, summer camps, corporate outings, weddings, showers, and any other event possibility to Converse’s historic campus.
Debbi graduated from Wofford College in 1988 where she stayed the next 29 years in various roles from Athletics to Special Projects, and most recently, Director of Alumni Engagement. She also worked the last ten summers as the Coordinator of Fan Experience during the Carolina Panthers Training Camp held in Spartanburg.
Debbi has a daughter, Ellie and a son, Gray and two dogs. She enjoys hiking (especially in Scotland), boating, the beach, and planning parties. She does, however, have a huge spider-phobia.
