Dallas Witt
Dallas Witt is the Director of Student Programming at Converse University. His role will focus on leadership development, student government, student clubs and organizations, campus programming, and other student involvement opportunities.
Dallas has previously served as the Coordinator of Fraternity & Sorority Life at Barton College in Wilson, North Carolina. While at Barton, he was named the National Fraternity & Sorority Advisor of the Year through the Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority for 2021. Prior to his experience in Greek Life, Dallas has experience in Residence Life and Campus Activities at Limestone University located in Gaffney, South Carolina.
Dallas’ passion for student engagement comes from immense campus involvement during his undergraduate career at Coker College (now University). After completing his Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Dallas completed a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Leadership & Social Justice from Bellarmine University. Dallas is currently enrolled in Converse’s Doctorate in Education Professional Leadership program and is studying the relationship between student involvement and a student’s sense of belonging on campus.
A fun fact about Dallas is he worked for Signet Jewelers, the world’s largest jewelry retailer, for over 10 years. He is also a Certified Diamontologist through the Diamond Council of America, and a graduate of the Diamond Certification program through Gemological Science International.
