Non-Degree Seeking Student

Interested in test-driving our graduate classes before you apply to a program? Perhaps you’re an educator looking for a course to fulfill a certification or Read to Succeed Literacy requirement. Maybe you want to prove to yourself that you can succeed in graduate school. Come give Converse a try!

Students may apply for “special status,” as a non-degree seeking student. Any student intending to complete a degree program may not exceed 12 credit hours as a non-degree seeking student.

Students not currently admitted or enrolled in a Masters or Ed.S. program at Converse College may apply as a non-degree (special status) student.

  • You will need to make payment arrangements with the Student Billing Coordinator. You will not be registered for the course until arrangements have been completed.

If you have any questions regarding your special status application, please contact

Non-degree seeking students, or “special status,” are not eligible for financial aid. Students must pay for their courses at the time of registration.
