Pell Hall

Pell Hall is the oldest and most distinctive of the residence halls in its collection of double and triple rooms. Named after Converse’s second president, Robert Paine Pell, Pell was renovated in a $9 million project to restore its historic beauty while adapting to the needs of 21st century students. Pell features original hardwood floors, stained glass, a kitchen, several cozy study/hangout spaces, and the Moore Seminar room. Pell is connected to Wilson Hall and our dining room.

West Wilson Hall
Pell is connected to Wilson Hall and Mary Wilson Gee Dining Room, and is home to two vibrant communities: Converse College for Women, a space that continues to honor the tradition of empowering women in a living-learning community that focuses on mentorship, service, and leadership; and our very first gender-inclusive hallway, where students of all identities come together in an open and supportive environment.
