There’s so much to see and do right here on campus, and in fact, all around Spartanburg—beautiful scenery, historically significant sites, and an endless supply of cultural events. Your visit here can be many things, but it will certainly be busy.
Visit the following pages for details about scheduling prospective student visits:
What will you do on campus? Perhaps our Valkyries will have a lacrosse match or there will be a new exhibition at Milliken Art Gallery. Undoubtedly, a performance (Senior solo piano recital? Nationally known string quartet? They’re all amazing.) will be presented by our Petrie School of Music. And look for special events if you’re an alumna or parent.
If you’re here applying for admission, sit in on a class – maybe Renaissance Studies, Criminology or American Foreign Policy. Meet your future German professor. Suddenly you’ll feel energized and ignited. The sculptures of accomplished women sprinkled around the campus will become more than beautiful accents. They are muses and guides, wise and accomplished bronze counselors, and they beckon you to a better world, a better life, a better you.
A campus visit to Converse will put you on track to getting a great education and opening up all kinds of new, exciting possibilities. It’s great to actually meet our students, have lunch with our faculty, and see our molecular biology labs with your own eyes.
So, start planning your trip now. It’s easy to get to Spartanburg, and there are lots of places to stay. If you’re a high school student, you can even arrange to spend the night here at Converse, or come to one of our Preview Days.
Come discover. Come explore. Come make things happen.
