SUMMARY:2023 Festival of Lessons and Carols
DESCRIPTION:Converse University and our broader Spartanburg community will enjoy a beautiful holiday tradition with the annual Festival of Lessons & Carols\, held in Twichell Auditorium on November 30th. The prelude will begin at 7:30 pm and the official program will begin at 8:00 pm. As always\, this event is free and open to the public. \nThe live stream will begin at 7:30 pm (EST). \nLessons and Carols has become a tradition at Converse and is a service of worship involving all segments of the local community. The festival is a customary worship that celebrates the Christmas season. Traditional Christmas carols and hymns\, along with student-led scripture readings will be presented as a part of the program. \nIn addition to the two Christmas trees on Twichell stage\, luminaries will line the front campus for the evening’s glow. \nFunds collected from the sale of luminaries will go toward our Student Benevolence Fund. Luminary submissions received by Friday\, November 10\, 2023\, will be recognized during The Festival of Lessons and Carols program. \n

SUMMARY:2023 Converse Undergraduate Commencement
DESCRIPTION:Commencement Ceremony for Converse Undergraduates who are receiving a degree. \nThis will be a ticketed event and the complimentary tickets can be reserved by the undergraduate the week of Commencement through the Converse Box Office. Tickets can be reserved once the undergraduate’s account(s) are cleared. These tickets can be reserved until Friday\, May 19\, 2023 at noon. \nCurrently\, six (6) complimentary tickets will be available to each graduating senior. If this number changes due to restrictions or limits\, you will be notified via your Converse email. There will be no tickets for purchase and at this time\, the University cannot commit to any additional tickets. The undergraduate can contact the Box Office and request to be placed on a waiting list for up to 5 additional tickets. \nEach guest must have a ticket which will be scanned at the Twichell Auditorium doors. \nThe live stream will begin at 9:30 am (EST) via the Converse University YouTube channel. \nSee the Commencement page for additional details. \nDownload the 2023 Converse Undergrad Commencement Program
