Tori McLean Good
Director of Leadership Development & Orientation/Title IX Coordinator
Tori McLean Good is originally from Ballymena, Northern Ireland, but has lived in the United States for more than 25 years. Tori earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication (Graphic Design) from Winthrop University in 2012. During her time at Winthrop, Tori became very heavily involved in every leadership opportunity she could to grow and develop as a leader on campus. At the time, she did not realize the importance or impact these roles would be on her professional career.
With a passion for helping others and a desire to help others succeed, Tori pursued her Master of Counselor Education with a Student Affairs focus at Clemson University to better understand student development theory. During her time at Clemson, Tori saw the connectedness between academic affairs and student affairs, knowing both teams must work together for the benefit of the students. She also enjoyed a year-long internship with Furman University and the Furman University Student Activities Board (FUSAB), finding a love for student activities and programming.
Tori joined the Converse family in July of 2015 as the Director of Leadership Development & Orientation, working to challenge students at Converse to be the best version of themselves possible by identifying their strengths and helping them to meet their goals. Loving the small college feel, Tori has loved every minute of her Converse adventure and loves welcoming students to campus through orientation and keeping them engaged and involved through leadership opportunities.
Tori lives with her husband Mike and their three dogs: Cooper, Fonzie, and Angus and loves taking walks around campus to take in the College’s beauty.
