Publicity and Patron Services Coordinator for the Petrie School of Music
Lindsey Brakhage serves in a part-time capacity running the business and publicity aspects of the Carlos Moseley Chamber Music Series and coordinating public relations efforts for the School of the Arts. She helps promote the roughly 200 performances put on by the Petrie School of Music every year. She also serves as the soprano section leader for the Episcopal Church of the Advent and as the Parish Administrator for St. Christopher's Episcopal Church.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia, Lindsey received her MM in Vocal Performance under the direction of Dr. Susan Lyle at Converse College in 2016. Lindsey has studied and performed internationally in England, Wales, and Italy. She has performed the roles of "Marianne" in Strauss' Der Rosenkavalier with Harrower Summer Opera Workshop in Atlanta, Georgia and "Praskovia" in Lehar's The Merry Widow with The Spartanburg Repertory Company. In 2014, Lindsey worked with the esteemed Bavarian composer, Eckhard Kopetski at the InterHarmony International Music Festival in Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Germany to premiere his original work, The Mirror. In 2017, Lindsey made her Carnegie Hall debut with the Manhattan Opera Studio performing the role of "Countess Almaviva" in Le Nozze di Figaro.
