Jamie Grant-Ponce is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience managing the Enrollment Management function at non-profit institutions of higher learning. Born and raised in rural West Central Indiana, Jamie grew up in an environment steeped in education, as both of her parents were educators. This upbringing instilled in her a deep appreciation for learning and the transformative power of education.

Jamie’s educational journey began at Ripon College, where she pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree. She sought further knowledge and expertise and earned a Master of Science in Management and Organizational Behavior from Silver Lake College of the Holy Family. Currently, Jamie is engaged in her doctoral studies at Converse University, furthering her commitment to academic excellence and research.

Throughout her career, Jamie has excelled in various aspects of Enrollment Management, showcasing her exceptional leadership and passion for diversity and inclusion. She has led initiatives to promote diversity and inclusivity within educational institutions, recognizing the importance of creating an environment that values and respects individuals from all backgrounds.

One of Jamie’s notable achievements was spearheading efforts to increase interest and enrollment at a private liberal arts institution of higher learning. Her strategic marketing approaches and streamlined processes played a pivotal role in attracting prospective students and fostering a vibrant educational community through a model change, name change, and global pandemic.

In addition, Jamie has demonstrated her expertise in coordinating and training Welcome Centers and One-Stop-Shops, which encompass the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and the Registrar. Her dedication to creating efficient and student-centric service centers has significantly enhanced the enrollment experience for students and their families.

As a leader, Jamie is known for her authenticity and team-based approach. She firmly believes in supporting her team members as they work together toward achieving success. Her leadership style fosters trust, collaboration, and growth as she strives to develop leaders who will, in turn, cultivate the next generation of leaders.

Jamie enjoys spending time with her loved ones outside of her professional pursuits. She resides in Spartanburg with her husband, Joe, and their cherished German Shorthaired Pointer/Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix, Marlee. Jamie also values leisure activities such as going to the lake and beach, reading, and crocheting, which provide her with relaxation and inspiration.
