Basketball Reserve Coach
Ashlen graduated from University of Tennessee, Chattanooga in 2014 where she received her Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education K-12, with a minor in Psychology. She worked with Fellowship of Christian Athletes immediately after graduating. Ashlen also served Haitian refugees on an overseas mission trip and worked as a basketball coach and camp counselor at Kid’s Across America.
She played four years of Division 1 college basketball, winning one national tournament championship and tournament MVP, four SOCON Regular Season Conference Championships, three SOCON Tournament Championships, SOCON Player of the Year, and she was inducted to the Greater Chattanooga Sports Hall of Fame as 2013 Female Athlete Year.
Ashlen is originally from Spartanburg, SC and after 6 years of college and work she has returned home to be a part of Converse College Basketball and earn a Master’s in the Art of Teaching in Early Childhood from Converse.
