Frequently Asked Questions

You are able to check your school email account from any computer by logging into my.converse.edu. Under the ‘Quick links’ menu on the left-hand side click on Google Apps/Email.

You are able to check all of the above at MyConverse by using your student login and password.

It is only a requirement if you are an art major. There are multiple computer labs located across campus. Some majors require specific software; please review the computer recommendations page to find out if your computer meets the existing requirements.

As a student at Converse, you are eligible to receive discounts on computers and computer software.

While having a printer in your room is convenient, this decision is entirely up to you. If you do bring a printer we ask that you disable all wireless services on your printer. All of our campus computers are set up for printing.

Yes, we highly recommend the four or six receptacle models made by companies that will reimburse you for any electrical surge damage to the equipment plugged into their surge suppressor. Protecting your computer and printer are entirely your responsibility.

Yes, students may drop off their computer at the Campus Technology office, located on third floor Kuhn. We will do our best in resolving the problem. However, we will not be able to assist you with Gaming consoles or printers.
