Sarah Cooper

Associate Director of the MFA and Writing Program

Sarah Cooper is a 2014 graduate of Converse College’s Low-Residency MFA program, a 2010 graduate (MA Literary Studies) of Purdue University and a 2007 graduate (BA English and Women’s Studies) of Clemson University.  Her academic pursuits include creative writing (poetry), and women’s and gender studies within a contemporary framework.  She is a Holman in Teaching award recipient for her work as a Senior Lecturer at Clemson University.  Sarah’s poems have appeared in Cahaba Literary Review, Sun Star Review, Forage Poetry: Poetry of Politics and other literary journals.
