Pamela Agudelo

Pamela Agudelo, MBA, CPA, CGMA, is an assistant professor of accounting in the Department of Economics, Accounting and Business. She has worked in business and accounting since 2001 serving a wide range of organizations including public accounting, non-profit, governmental and manufacturing. She worked with Deloitte and Cherry Bekaert. Most recently she served as a Global Business Finance Leader with Milliken & Company where she held various accounting and finance positions since 2012.

Ms. Agudelo received her MBA from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business and her BS in Business Administration from University of South Carolina Upstate. She has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2004.

Pamela’s first career was in ballet as a professional ballet dancer and instructor. She and her husband had the opportunity to dance together in Europe and later moved to Spartanburg to teach ballet. Her husband, Carlos, is the Artistic Director for Ballet Spartanburg and their son, Michael, is a soloist with Ballet San Antonio.
