Joyce Thomason

After her graduation from Purdue University, Joyce began her long career in textiles with Milliken & Company. She worked for other textile companies, as well, in product development, production planning, and customer service.

At Converse, she will apply her customer service skills as Guest Services Coordinator in the Converse College Box Office and assist with other Event Services activities.

Joyce has been married to Richard Thomason since 1987. They have two daughters and two granddaughters. One daughter, Ashley Thomason Whitt is a 2011 Converse College graduate. Joyce and Richard enjoy working on projects together. They designed a 500-square-foot mother-in-law suite and personally built this addition onto their home. Joyce also enjoys decorating, upholstering and refinishing furniture.
