Jeffery Martin

Jeff Martin is an Assistant Professor in the Professional Leadership Program.  He retired from Clemson University following 32 years of service as an Associate Vice President in Institutional Advancement.   Before Clemson University, Jeff served at Western Carolina University for seven years in Student Affairs. His primary teaching emphasis has been in leadership, event management and community service.   His passion for community service has led to recognition by receipt of the Catherine Smith Award for Community Service and the Abernathy/ Cox One Clemson Award, the highest awards for service awarded by the Clemson community.

Jeff was born in Caribou, Maine and is married to Cheryl Martin.  They have three sons, Thomas, Sam and Nate, all Clemson graduates.  He especially enjoys being with his two perfect grandchildren.
