As the Chief Communications Officer at Converse College, Holly Duncan oversees the day-to-day and strategic management of media and public relations, website design and content, marketing and advertising, as well as social media and crisis communication.
Holly’s 15-year marketing career spans corporate, nonprofit and agency settings with concentrations in brand marketing, consumer marketing and strategic partnerships. She came to Converse from the Harlem Globetrotters, where as its director of brand marketing, she led the rebranding of the legacy team, amplified brand conversations and drove sales goals with millennial and GenZ audiences. She also held multiple management positions for Verizon Wireless where she led brand strategy, development of integrated marketing communications and branded entertainment experiences. Her career started in Greenville, SC at EP+Co (Erwin-Penland).
Holly earned her MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business school where she was a Social Enterprise Fellow with an emphasis on sustainable business and women’s initiatives.
Her time outside Converse is spent with her husband, toddler son and rescue dogs.
