Biology major Brittany Leonard ’20 (Nisbet Honors) presented a poster on “The Effect of Juglone and Ailanthone on Kudzu Growth” at the South Carolina Academy of Science meeting and did an oral presentation at the 15th Annual SC Upstate Research Symposium at the University of South Carolina Upstate. Her research mentor was Dr. Edna Steele.

Chemistry major Kenda Szczesniak ’19 (Nisbet Honors)  gave a presentation titled “A Xerogel-based Biosensor for Clinically Relevant Measurements of Cholesterol.” Her research mentor was Dr. Will Case.
