DESCRIPTION:The Converse University Athletics Department will hold its fifth annual Converse University Valkyries Golf Tournament on Friday\, October 17\, 2025\, at The Carolina Country Club in Spartanburg\, South Carolina. \nConverse Athletics is a rapidly growing program with tremendous momentum. This annual fundraiser will benefit more than 400 Converse University student-athletes as they compete at the NCAA Division II level. \nEntry fees include green fees\, cart\, swag bag\, lunch\, and refreshments during the tournament. \nRegistration begins at 9:00 am with a shotgun start at 10:00 am. The number of participants will be limited. Therefore\, early registration is encouraged! \nDeadline for registration will be Friday\, October 10\, 2025. Whether you’re a student\, family member\, alum\, or friend of Converse\, there’s something for everyone. \nT-shirts can be purchased for $15 each via the RSVP form. Orders placed will be available for pick-up on Friday\, October 31 at the Fall Festival or Saturday\, November 1 at the Tailgate. The last day purchase t-shirts is Friday\, October 17. \nWe hope to CU there! \nPlease RSVP by 10/31/25 \nRSVP for Homecoming \n\nSchedule of Events\nFRIDAY\, OCTOBER 31\, 2025\nOpen all day: Walk through Montgomery Student Center and view student research and internship posters (FREE) \n3:30-4:30 PM: Join the Petrie School of Music for a Halloween themed student recital in Daniel Recital Hall. Afterwards\, join us for the Fall Festival on the Quad! (FREE) \n4-7 PM: Celebrate the season at Fall Festival and Food Truck Friday on the Quad! Join us for an evening of fall fun\, food\, and community! Enjoy music selected by Converse students\, connect with a variety of student organizations\, and take part in seasonal activities. AVI will serve dinner on the Montgomery Patio\, and a diverse lineup of local food trucks will be available. Students will receive tickets to use at the food trucks. Families and guests are welcome to attend and may purchase food directly from the food trucks of their choice. (FREE) \nSATURDAY\, NOVEMBER 1\, 2025\nOpen all day: Walk through Montgomery Student Center and view student research and internship posters. \n11 AM-1 PM: Enjoy brunch in Gee Dining Room. Guests can pay $8.50 at the door. \n12-3 PM: Swing by Weisiger Lot to tailgate with the Converse community (FREE). \n1 PM: Watch the women’s volleyball team take on UVA Wise! A special Homecoming athletic ticket bundle that includes access to the volleyball match and the soccer doubleheader is available here. \n2 PM and 5 PM: Watch the men’s and women’s soccer teams take on King University for Senior Day! A special Homecoming athletic ticket bundle that includes access to the volleyball match and the soccer doubleheader is available here. \n*Special programming for students only will take place during 1889/Homecoming week.
