DESCRIPTION:“A formidable and magnificent pianist.” – The New York Concert Review \nEgyptian-American pianist Wael Farouk has been beloved in Spartanburg for more than two decades\, since he was a Master’s student of Doug Weeks at Converse. He now lives outside of New York\, where he teaches at the Manhattan School of Music and uses the city as the base of a major international performing career. He commands an impossibly vast repertoire of more than 70 concertos and 60 recital programs\, and performs throughout Europe\, Asia\, Africa\, and the Americas.
