The members of the Polaris Piano Trio are friends whose collective musical collaboration spans more than 20 years. Concerts by Polaris Piano Trio have included performances on the Piccolo Festival of Spoleto in Charleston, South Carolina and at the Arts Club of Washington (Washington, D.C.) as well as in New York, Maryland and Virginia. Individually they have performed in prestigious venues including The Kennedy Center, the National Museum of Women in the Arts and the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.; Alice Tully Hall, Merkin Concert Hall, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, Gindi Auditorium in Los Angeles as well as overseas in the European Union, South America, Norway, Panama, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, Trinidad, South Africa and Thailand. Combining their forces, the Polaris Piano Trio performs innovative programs that explore works by women and composers of African descent as well performing works from the standard repertoire.
