Join us for a one-of-kind and totally free opportunity at Converse College, beginning with optional activities — including an overnight stay — Friday October 25th at 4:00, and continuing with a day full of activities Saturday the 26th from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.

Come see and hear our faculty and students in action! Learn about the life of a music student and about our exceptional training in the arts. See how the Petrie School of Music enables students to combine their love of music with the best in academics, in a setting that is designed for personal and artistic success.

Each student will have the opportunity to:

Experience a “one-on-one” lesson with our renowned music faculty
Rehearse and perform with current students and faculty
Hear our faculty and students perform
Sample classes in music theory and music history
Prep for college auditions and region/all-state band, chorus and orchestra auditions
In addition, students and their parents will be able to attend informative sessions on:

Career opportunities in music
College application and audition procedures
Applying for financial aid
Converse’s degree programs in music
Events on Friday afternoon and evening, October 25th, are optional and may be paired with a FREE overnight campus visit in Converse’s residence halls. This opportunity is open to female high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors only.
