Graduates of the Petrie School can be found on Broadway and in major symphony orchestras, opera houses, regional and municipal symphonies, jazz groups,
chamber orchestras, colleges, universities, and conservatories throughout America and around the world.
Recent alumnae include:

- Allyss Beek '01 is a graduate student in conducting at Illinois University.
- Lydia Noland '01 has been hired by the Shreveport Opera in Louisiana as the soprano
for their 2004-2005 Young Artist Program. She will sing comprimario
roles in their mainstage productions as well touring in their outreach
programs and performing with the Shreveport Symphony. In the summer
2004, she performed the role of "Lily St. Regis" in the Ashlawn Music
Festival's production of Annie.
- Leah Jones '00 is a graduate student in vocal performance at the Peabody Conservatory
- Laura Kate Moore ’95 was the youngest American mezzo-soprano
to make her operatic and Wagnerian debuts simultaneously; she has sung
with Arizona Opera, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Austin Lyric Opera,
and Santa Fe Opera.
- Kimilee Bryant ’88 is a Broadway performing artist who performed for several years as “Christine” in
Phantom of the Opera
- Laura Alley ’74 is a stage director with the New York City Opera
- Gretchen Lund Eder ’72 is a soprano with the Vienna State Opera Company
