Students from throughout the world have made their way to the Petrie School to study performance. With individual instruction from an exceptionally talented performing faculty, the Petrie School provides a truly comprehensive education by

• providing multiple performance opportunities that include large ensembles, chamber ensembles and solo performance experiences;
• enabling students to gain invaluable experience in studio teaching through emphasis in pedagogy;
• offering masterclasses conducted by some of the most significant artists in the music profession.

In addition to receiving weekly private lessons, students also attend weekly studio seminars conducted by the primary teacher. Performance students also benefit from clinics, where guest artists are invited to perform and interact with the students in masterclasses and workshop settings.
