Various Flights

Here are three snapshots of Harriet posing for a picture in her flight suit.  As Harriet continued her flying, she slowly gained recognition that put her in demand for such photographs and appearances.  Harriet's success as a pilot grew as she became the first woman to fly solo across the English Channel.

As Harriet became known as a pilot, she was offered to make special flights.

The caption on this picture states, "Possessing skill, daring, beauty, and grace, Harriet Quimby both revolutionized and popularized the world of early twentieth century aviation."
