RECORDED AUDITION:
Submit a tape, CD or video recording (solo and/or chamber performance) of two contrasting selections.

LIVE AUDITIONS:
Live auditions will be held on the campus of Converse College in Spartanburg, S.C., Saturday, Nov. 4, 2006, and Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007.

TRANSPORTATION:
Participants may travel from the United States with a group departing from Charlotte International Airport. Alternatively, students may make their own travel arrangements to meet the group in London. The festival will provide transit for those arriving at London Heathrow Airport during a prearranged four-hour block of time. The festival will conclude in London, and a shuttle will be provided to Heathrow.

Harlaxton, Lincolnshire, England (110 miles north of London)

HOW MUCH:
$2,875 (includes chamber coaching, housing, meals at Harlaxton Manor, transportation, activities, performance arrangements, an excursion to London and a farewell banquet); flight is not included.

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE:
Acceptance notices will be sent about March 1, 2007. Confirmation and a nonrefundable deposit of $300 are required by March 20, 2007. A second payment of $1,000 is due by April 10, 2007, and the complete balance is due by May 1, 2007.

EXCURSIONS:
Festival performances take participants to Grimsthorpe Castle, Lincoln, Belvoir Castle, Grantham and neighboring areas. The festival concludes with a London performance and two nights in the heart of the city. Weekends allow limited time for independent travel; some students and faculty may elect to extend their stay with European travel and performance.
