One of the nation's most acclaimed poets, Denise Duhamel, will give a reading as part of the creative writing program's visiting writers series. Duhamel's books include Ka-Ching!; Two and Two; Queen for a Day: Selected and New Poems; The Star Spangled Banner, and Kinky, among many others. Her work has been widely translated and appeared in several issues of The Best American Poetry anthology, plus numerous journals including American Poetry Review, Boston Review, Harvard Review, Ontario Review and Poetry East. A recipient of multiple awards for her work, Duhamel currently teaches in the Florida International Creative Writing program and in the Converse College Low-Residency MFA.
