Epsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Scholarships

A gift from the estate of Claude and Mildred C. Huggins established three scholarships each for one thousand dollars, to be awarded annually in honor of the twelve charter members of the Epsilon Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, an organization that honors outstanding educators. The recipients of the scholarships must be residents of Abbeville, Greenwood, or Newberry Counties. The Epsilon Scholarships will be awarded annually to education majors in their junior or senior year of study. The basis of the award will be good moral character, scholarship, leadership potential, and future usefulness to society. The Epsilon Scholarships may be renewed for a second year with satisfactory academic progress toward a degree.
