To Visiting Athletic Trainers and Teams:
We welcome you to Converse College and the Weisiger Center for your upcoming sporting event! The athletic training room will be open and available for your use prior to the competition that day. Teams traveling with a certified athletic trainer will be able to use electric stim and ultrasound modalities. Those traveling without a certified athletic trainer may only use whirlpools, hydrocollator packs, and ice. We will make every effort to meet all taping needs; however, please be considerate of other home team needs as practices and competitions sometimes overlap. Please provide written instructions from an athletic trainer or team physician outlining treatments, as well as any tape and first aid supplies that the team will need for the competition.
The following items will be provided on the court or field of play:
- 10 gallon water cooler on each bench with cups
- Injury Ice and Bags on each bench
- Biohazard Supplies on each bench
- AED
- Splint Kit
