Redman Resigns as Lacrosse Coach
SPARTANBURG, SC- Director of Athletics, Joy Couch, has announced the resignation of head lacrosse coach Julie Redman, effective immediately. Redman leaves the Valkyries program after starting the program in 2009 and leading the team for the past three seasons. She compiled a 12-40 record at Converse after coming from the University of New England in Biddeford, ME.
"We are grateful to Julie for the time and energy that she spent starting our program and progressing us to being competitive in the Conference Carolinas," stated Couch. "We have now begun to conduct a national search for our next head lacrosse coach, and will begin interviewing qualified candidates immediately."
