
HIGH POINT, NC- Sophomore Lacey Bevilacqua (Carlsbad, CA) was selected to the Conference Carolinas All-Conference lacrosse second-team, which was announced on Saturday, April 16. Bevilacqua tallied 45 goals and 18 assists for a total of 63 points during the 2011 campaign. She also had 48 ground balls and 48 draw controls, while causing 18 turnovers at attack for the Valkyries.
All-Conference Women's Lacrosse Teams were determined by vote from each head coach of participating institutions. Nominations were collected and then voted upon by ballot and tallied to determine First Team, Second Team, Player of the Year, Freshman of the Year, and Coach of the Year award winners. Awards will be presented at the Conference Tournament Championships hosted by Queens University of Charlotte at this weekend's conference championship. Semifinal games will be played Saturday and the championship final Sunday at Queens Sports Complex at Marion Diehl Park. This year's award winners are as follows:
