Converse Brings Angelina Pane in as New Soccer Assistant

SPARTANBURG, S.C.- Head soccer coach Rob DePaol has announced the hiring of Angelina Pane as the new assistant coach for the Valkyries soccer program.

"I am excited to have Angelina as our new assistant coach," stated DePaol. "Her knowledge of the game and experience working with top level collegiate athletes will allow our program to continue moving in the right direction."

Pane graduated in 2009 from Concordia University Wisconsin with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology. While at Concordia, Angelina was a four year letter winner in soccer, and was team captain her senior year.

After college, she spent a year as the strength and conditioning assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she helped develop and oversee weight training programs for eight different varsity sports.

"I am excited to join a program that is focused on winning," said Pane. "I am devoted to helping us accomplish this, while I continue to grow and learn as a coach."
