- Individual Admission Appointments:
Available from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday and at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Saturdays during the academic year. Transfer students are strongly encouraged to bring a copy (official or unofficial) of all college transcripts.
Families who wish to visit campus on Saturday are strongly encouraged to call in advance to make arrangements as spaces are limited.
- Campus Tours:
The tour includes a freshman residence hall room, the library, a typical classroom and the student center in addition to other points of interest. Generally, tours are given Monday-Friday, at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. and at 11:00 a.m. on Saturdays during the academic year. Our Visit Coordinator will help you schedule a time that's most convenient, based on your arrival and departure times.
Familes who wish to visit campus on Saturday are strongly encouraged to call in advance to make arrangements as spaces are limited.
- Class Visits/Faculty Appointments:
Available to students who would like to meet individually with a representative from a specific academic department or sit in on a class. We request at least two weeks notice to arrange a faculty meeting.
- Overnight Visits:
High-school seniors may spend one night in a residence hall with a current students Sunday through Thursday during the academic year. In order to ensure our current students' success, overnight visits are not offered during mid-term or final exams, or over semester break. In addition to staying overnight with one of our student hosts, prospective students also accompany them to meals, meet other Converse students and experience our vibrant student life. We are happy to take care of all your meals on campus while visiting overnight. To arrange an overnight visit, please give us at least three weeks' notice.
- Converse College’s Admissions Office
is open on Saturdays from September 1st to May 31st only.
If you would like to schedule any or all of these activities, please contact us at least 2-3 weeks before you plan to visit. We encourage you to have 2-3 possible visit dates available when you call. We are closed Saturdays over major holidays and quickly reach capacity during school holidays and breaks.

The Admissions Office is open Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m. Our office is in Wilson Hall, 580 E. Main Street in Spartanburg, straight ahead as you enter campus from Main Street. Visitor parking is available on the circle, immediately after you enter campus.
