Rachel Hansen

Rachel joined the Admission Team in August 2011. She is a Converse Pink Panther from the Class of 2008 (0-8, Don’t Hate). At Converse, Rachel was a double major in Music and Religion. After graduating, Rachel worked in Human Resources, started a photography business and opened a Piano Studio. Rachel is thankful that her education at Converse allowed her to pursue many of her dreams since graduating. Rachel works with students from the Upstate, SC area (excluding Spartanburg County).

Meredith Hardwicke

Meredith graduated from Converse in 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Creative & Professional Writing.  As a student at Converse, she served as Editor of Concept (campus literary magazine) and The Conversationalist (campus newspaper).   Outside of the office, she enjoys yoga and live music. Meredith attended Boiling Springs High School in her hometown of Spartanburg. She works with students in North Carolina, the Northeast, and the Midwest/West.  She also serves as the Converse School of the Arts representative.

April has served Converse since 2004. She is a 1999 graduate of Erskine College and is currently working on a Masters Degree in Enrollment Management from Capella University.  April serves as the Director of Admission.

Ashley Moreira

Ashley joined the Admission Team in July 2009.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Tusculum College in 2007.  While serving as a graduate assistant, Ashley received her Masters of Liberal Arts in English from Converse in August 2009. Ashley works with students from Texas as well as Student Athletes. Originally from Canada, she also works with international students.

Molly Moyer

Molly is a graduate of the Converse College Pink Panther Class of 2006 with a degree in Psychology.  During her time at Converse, she served as the Student Government President and traveled to Paris, France as a Chapman Scholarship Recipient. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, Molly Kathryn (MK).  Molly currently serves as the Admission Hospitality Coordinator.

Rachel Skweres

Rachel Skweres works as an admission counselor for Transfer students as well as students from Richland and Lexington Counties, SC.  She enjoys helping students find a home in the Converse community.  Rachel and her husband, Brandon, moved to South Carolina from Chicago.  Rachel played division I volleyball at Birmingham-Southern College where she graduated with a Bachelors in English & Writing.  She has a background in advertising sales and sports media.  A fun fact about Rachel is that she’s collected sand from beaches all over the country during her professional beach volleyball career.  On the side, she helps in the sports information department with play-by-play commentating for Valkyrie volleyball matches.

Amber Sorrells

Amber joined the Admission Team in July 2010. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Psychology from Carson-Newman College in 2008. She is currently working on a Masters Degree of Education in School Counseling through Clemson University. Amber works with students from Spartanburg County.

Amy Wilks

Amy joined the Admissions Team in August 2011. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business from The University of Tennessee in December 2009.  While at UT, Amy had the privilege of working with the Admissions Office as an Orange Pride member, and with the UT Football Recruiting office as a student worker.  After graduation, she completed a full-time internship in the football recruiting office.  Amy works with students from the Tennessee area and the Rock Hill, Sumter, Florence and Myrtle Beach areas of South Carolina.
