 HAZEL B. ABBOTT THEATRE
This intimate 279-seat proscenium theatre has served as the home for theatre productions at Converse for over 100 years! Located in the College’s original main building—Wilson Hall—the theatre also serves as a classroom for courses in acting, introduction to theatre, directing, movement, and many others. |

LAIRD STUDIO THEATRE
Located adjacent to the Abbott Theatre, this space is a flexible “black box” theatre that can seat up to 75 in a thrust, arena, or proscenium style arrangement. Like the Abbott Theate, The Laird Theatre is used for productions, classes, and rehearsals. Both theatres have independent, computerized lighting control systems. |

ALSO IN WILSON HALL...
are dressing rooms, faculty offices, a design classroom, a resource room, costume construction and storage areas, ticket office, and prop storage.

THE DANCE STUDIO
Located in the Montgomery Student Center, the Studio features lots of natural light, a sprung dance floor, full-length mirrors, ballet barres, a tap floor, and a sound system. |

THE SCENE SHOP
Construction space for our productions is in our air-conditioned scene shop building, located separate from the theatres. It is fully equipped to handle scenery and prop construction in wood, metal, or plastic. |
