| Fee charges by Health Services (for laboratory tests and meningitis vaccine) are used to pay for the materials only. Converse College is able to acquire these materials at a cost substantially lower than can be purchased by the student. Services provided by the Registered Nurse are rendered at no charge to the student. Fees are as follows: |

If a pap smear is done at the time of a pelvic exam, the bill for reading the pap smear will be sent directly to the student from the laboratory.

State law prohibits dispensing of prescription medications by anyone other than a licensed pharmacist, nurse practitioner, or physician. The student will be given a prescription by the doctor if needed. Some non-prescription medications are available in the Office of Health Services.
