Student Activities at Converse College

Social life is an integral part of the Converse College experience. Our goal is to provide a healthy balance between academic pursuits and campus social activities. 

Examples of student activities include:

  • Dances
  • Band Parties
  • Comedians
  • Karaoke and DJ Parties
  • Trips (skiing, hiking, Biltmore House - just to name a few)
  • Outdoor Recreation
  • Games
  • Athletic Events (Converse Valkyries and other colleges)
  • Outings to area attractions and community events (such as Spartanburg's Music on Main)

All social activities are advertised on other area college campuses, and many activities are planned in conjunction with other colleges' student organizations. Our students are always welcome to invite friends to our events!

Student activities are planned by the Student Activities Committee (a student organization), the Office of Campus Life, or  clubs and outside organizations.
