Traffic and parking regulations for Converse College Campus have been prepared by the Department of Campus Safety. These regulations apply to all members of the College community.
Parking regulations are enforced to eliminate confusion and
hazzards, reduce traffic congestion, and provide students, faculty, and staff reasonable access to campus buildings.
VEHICLE REGISTRATION
All motor vehicles operated by students, faculty, and staff must be registered with Converse Department of Campus Safety within 5 days after being brought to campus. This includes full-time and part-time faculty and staff members.
RESIDENT STUDENTS
Initial registration will take place at the beginning of fall term. Resident students are registered on a first-come first-served basis. the days and times will be announced at the beginning of fall term registration. Only one car per resident is allowed on campus.
COMMUTER STUDENTS
Commuting students must register their vehicles anytime within five(5) days of first operating the vehicle on campus.
PROPER DISPLAY OF PARKING DECAL
Display your current decal in the lower left corner of the rear window of your registered car.
Failure to register a vehicle or display a decal can result in a fine or towing at the owner's expense.
