A virtuoso vocal ensemble under the direction of the distinguished composer and conductor Michael McCarthy, the Washington National Cathedral Singers are one of this country’s premier concert choirs. Mr. McCarthy, Director of Music at the Cathedral, has designed an enchanting program called “A Corner That Will Be Forever England!” featuring sacred and secular works by great British composers from William Byrd and Thomas Tallis to John Tavener and Benjamin Britten.

Concertos, solo recitals, and chamber music performances all over the world — for three decades Bruce Murray has been one of the most versatile and accomplished pianists on the international concert scene. His range is enormous, and runs from stunning performances of J. S. Bach to illuminating explorations of contemporary repertoire. He will treat Moseley Series subscribers to a program of masterpieces, including Debussy’s Images, Book 2, the “Moonlight” Sonata by Beethoven, and the Sonata No. 3 in B Minor by Chopin.
